Dr. Monica Berner leads the implementation of market growth strategy across HCSC’s five geographies and market segments including Group and Individual & Family Markets to ensure HCSC maintains strong performance in its targeted growth areas.

In her previous role as HCSC's Chief Clinical Officer, Monica was responsible for clinical policy and operations that improve access and support efficient delivery of high-quality, affordable medical care. She previously served as President of HCSC's Montana Plan, leading its operations including sales and account management, government and public relations, provider network management and medical management. She also served as the Plan's Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director. Before joining HCSC, Monica spent 12 years working in direct patient care as a board-certified family physician.
