Janice Torrez leads the overall strategic direction for HCSC's New Mexico Plan to support membership growth and retention and ensure financial stability and long-term success.

Janice previously served as Associate Vice President of External Affairs and Chief of Staff at the New Mexico Plan. Before joining the New Mexico Plan, Janice was President of the Rezult Group, providing business strategy and solutions for regional and national health care clients. Earlier she was President of the St. Joseph Healthcare PSO, the first federally waived provider-sponsored organization in the country, and Vice President of Business Development for the St. Joseph Healthcare System. She has a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix.
